RED BURSTS: THE CARRERANTES OF SAN BARTHOLOMEW OF THE LEVEL ONES

Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas. Monday, 10 of November of 2008 | The cronista of the city of Venustiano Carranza, Jorge Eduardo Coit Avendaño presented/displayed the titled investigation red Bursts: The carrerantes of San Bartholomew of the Level ones. Project guaranteed by the Program of Stimulus to the Creation and Desarrollo Artístico (PECDA).

            “When seeing the call of the PECDA arises the interest to participate due to desire to document a very important celebration for my town, that no of the cronistas writers nor had done, the carrerantes, are an old tradition that is carried out in the vestibules of the churches of San Pedro and San Sebastián”, declared the cronista.

            This work consisted of compiling the events that happen around the festividad of the carrerante. The rites initiate 72 hours before the races and finish 24 hours later, are five holidays.

            The history of the carrerantes has come executing from always, the arrival of the Spaniards is represented in these festividades and is the collective memory of the tsotsiles natives, this festividad repeats year with year in four occasions.

            The saints who celebrate the carrerantes are: San Sebastián, San Pedro, San Juan and San Bartholomew. In this investigation it is explained to detail how the celebration is developed and who participate.

            The flower cut, the washed one and dressing the bugler, the visit to the churches, alms, the elaboration and transportation of the offering, the celebration, how the carrerantes get dressed, how they prepare the horse, what they eat and who they elaborate the food, are some of the rituals of the festividad.

            This investigation is compiled in a book that it tries to be published. Jorge Eduardo Coit Avendaño declared that he is satisfied with the result of this investigation and advanced that he is preparing another project to present/display it to the PECDA.

            The work was presented/displayed Friday last in the audience of the Faculty of Social Sciences, of San Cristóbal of the Houses, where also Rubén de Leo presented/displayed its titled project the drama of the theater chipaneco visions and revisions of the theater development in Chiapas.

            Today, to 19:30 hours, in the audience of the Cultural Center of Chiapas “Jaime Sabines” will appear Yarinaila Martinez Hernandez, with his spectacle Six voices chiapanecas: Melodías Mexican and chiapanecas to six mixed voices.

 

THEY SUMMON TO GRADUATE MANAGEMENT AND CULTURE: CONTEXTS, SUBJECTS AND ACTIONS

Monday, 10 of November of 2008 | The National Council for the Culture and the Arts, through the main directorate of Cultural Entailment and the National Association of Universities and Institutions of Educación Superior (ANUIES), through the Academic main directorate summons to the graduate Management and Culture: Contexts, Subjects and Actions.

            This course has the intention to offer to the participants a theoretical-conceptual platform around the policies that govern the cultural action in Mexico and the world, that the critical reflection allows them , the interchange of experiences and the cultural and/or artistic development of initiatives and agreed projects with the necessities of diverse public.

            The graduate is directed to tie people to the promotion and cultural or artistic management in diverse institutions public or deprived and to educational personnel or civil employees of educative institutions that conduct battles of diffusion or academic extension in the artistic and cultural areas.

            The graduate is divided in three thematic modules, initiating with Policies and Cultural Management, in which they will approach themselves, from a methodologic theoretical perspective, diverse conceptions on the culture and the identity; the contemporary discussion will be reviewed on the globalización and the culture.

            In the second module one will treat the attention to specialized public, as well as present conceptualización that comes generating on the diverse specialized public, as they are: the children, young people, natives, groups in risk situation, among others.

            Within module III, titleholder Fields and combat abilities for the cultural managers, the context of the projects of present cultural attention will be analyzed. In addition the successful experiences of projects of cultural management will study in which it has worked with diverse specialized public.

            In the graduate, with duration of 200 hours, the students will develop the work most of in line and will participate in tables of work organized by satelite transmission, with the support of the EDUSAT, through Canal 23. CONCERTS AND SPECTACLES WITH THE SUPPORT OF CONECULTA CHIAPAS APPEARED

Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas. Monday, 10 of November of 2008 | In the Park Garden of the Art, during the days the 8 and 9 of October groups of dance folkloric “Na' amba Yacaimé”, “Young people of heart” and “Candox” presented/displayed the results of the projects guaranteed by means of opinion of the Program of Stimuli to the Creation and the Artistic Development, PECDA 2008, promoted by the Government of State of Chiapas traverse of the Coneculta and the CONACULTA.

            In that place the chiapanecos were witnesses of the work made throughout the 10 months already passed.

            The scope of music, the joint of guitar of San Cristóbal and Jazzimba also put under evaluation the projects on the execution of the classic guitar and marimba in the land of the jazz.

            The past Sunday they offered skillful concerts in the Park Garden of the Art, in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, where the artistic communities and the society in general applauded the made creations.

            For the emission of the Program of Stimuli for the Creation and to Artistic Development 2009, the call in present 2008 was sent and closed the 31 of October. In December they will occur to know the groups, investigators and artists who will be benefitted.
