IT SANCTIONS SFP AND IT PENAL DENOUNCES TO 194 SERVANTS PUBLIC SEP, WHO RECEIVED BENEFITS ILLEGALLY AND TURNED ASIDE RESOURCES FEDERAL

Tuesday, 31.AGO.2010. -    ▀ An audit of the Secretariat of Función Pública (SFP) allowed to disarticulate two constituted networks of corruption, in both cases, by servants public assigned to the Main directorate of Educación Indígena (DGEI) of the Secretariat of Educación Pública (SEP).

            In a first case, this audit put to discovered that the 14 servants public turned aside resources by two million, 700 thousand pesos, by means of the simulation of direct purchases of goods for the DGEI.

            The investigation credited that, during 2005 and 2006, these servants public simulated direct purchases, by means of the false document presentation: purchase requests, bonds of article supply , registries from enter the warehouse, and invoices that were not known by the emitting assumptions.

            Therefore, the SFP opened to administrative procedures of responsibilities to the 14 servants public who participated in the facts.

            Three of them, who held positions of assistant director of Area, technician and professional of Specialized Analysis, were already sanctioned with destitution, incapacitation by ten years to each one of them to hold a public position and economic sanction, as a whole, by more than 210 thousand pesos.

            The other eleven involved employees could receive similar sanctions.

            In a second case, the SFP detected another network of corruption, this time conformed by 180 servants public, all assigned to the DGEI of the SEP.

            An extension of the revision arrives described allowed to determine that these servants received resources illegally, after presenting/displaying false documentation, to receive its labor benefits, with which they caused a patrimonial damage by a million, 259 thousand pesos, in resources public.

            The involved ones used invoices presumably apócrifas of suppliers of lenses and ortopédicos apparatuses, as well as prescriptions that were not sent by the ISSSTE, to justify the illegal payment of these benefits.

            The SFP has opened to procedures of administrative responsibilities against the 180 servants public who participated in the facts.

            Fifteen of them already were sanctioned with destitution and incapacitation by ten  years to hold a public position, besides which economic sanction of up to eight thousand pesos prevailed to them, to each one of them, in 14 cases.

            A similar sanction for the other 166 employees of the DGEI is expected.

            As much the 14 servants public involved in the simulated purchases, like the 180 that received “benefits”, were denounced penal by the SFP before the General Office of the judge advocate general of the Republic (PGR), that will determine the crimes that they incurred.

            Both cases, left a damage patrimonial that adds, altogether, a total of three million 960 thousand pesos, for the DGEI of the SEP.

            In order to prevent and to avoid the commission of irregularities in the future, the SFP recommended to the DGEI to impel measures of fortification of internal control; as well as the accomplishment of factories, to present the responsibilities the servants public.

            This official notice is based on the stipulated thing by article 49, fraction I SAW of the Rules of procedure of the SFP.

IT WILL TODAY GIVE BLAKE IV THE REPORT OF GOVERNMENT
